A highlight for craft workers in Ireland each year is the annual RDS National Craft Competition.
It has several categories with absolutely top class competition in each one. In 2011, I was really pleased to have my felt sculpture "Goodbye Norma Jean, Hello Hollywood" selected for inclusion in the final exhibition.
This year, I entered a tableau in a stain glass style, celebrating the First High King of Ireland, Brian Boru, his victory at the Battle of Clontarf in 1014 and his subsequent tragic death.
