An aspiring title?
It certainly gets one's attention!
As you suspect, it is not as grand as it sounds. The truth is that these are a series of garden sculptures, made from old textiles, like sheets and shirts. The technique is to wet the cloth with a resin and lay it over a wire frame to form figures.
I made my first figures several years ago and have had them in my garden to test their weather resistance before offering any for sale.
In these pieces, I have been following the same theme, by creating fantasy figures to hide in the undergrowth of the garden.
